The controversial Dominican singer Yailin La Mas Viral set social media ablaze again, but this time not because of her personal life, but because of a surprising change in her appearance.

After weeks of speculation about whether her recent photos on social media were the result of digital retouching, it was confirmed that the artist underwent a cosmetic surgery called "Waist "Zero."

The person responsible for this transformation is Dr. Cristian Concepcion, a surgeon from the Dominican Republic, who revealed details of the procedure in an exclusive interview for Primer Impacto.

According to the specialist, the goal was to fulfill the singer's desire for a much narrower silhouette, something she hadn't achieved with previous liposuction procedures due to her bone structure.

Unlike traditional techniques, the "Zero Waist" method does not involve the removal of floating ribs. Dr. Concepcion explained that an ultrasonic device is used to modify the angle of the ribs, strategically "bending" them to reduce the waist diameter. "Since they are floating ribs, they don't interfere with breathing, and the patient can lead a normal life," the doctor assured, emphasizing that the procedure leaves no visible scars. Although the results are immediate, the process requires a strict post-operative protocol that includes the constant use of a specialized corset to fix the new position of the ribs. However, the doctor clarified that not everyone is a candidate: people with obesity or excess skin do not qualify for this technique, which he has been performing since 2023. This is not the first cosmetic procedure that Yailin La Mas Viral has undergone. The singer has had breast and buttock augmentation, filler injections, and procedures to define her cheekbones, chin, and nose.
