Patna. As part of the campaign to crack down on criminals in Bihar, a list of most wanted criminals has been prepared at all police stations. A list of 300 such most wanted criminals has been prepared in the entire state. A massive campaign will be launched to arrest all of them. In this regard, a special order has been issued from the level of Police Headquarters. Strict action will be taken against these criminals who are absconding in all one thousand 97 police station areas of the state. To nab them at the earliest, a special Vajra force prepared at the district level will be deployed behind them.
SP will continuously monitor
All the districts have been asked to hand over the complete list of police station-wise criminals to the Vajra Battalion and proper monitoring of the arrest of these criminals will be done continuously at the level of the SP. The SP will continuously update the list of all the most wanted criminals arrested and if needed, the names of some new criminals will also be added. In the review meeting to be held at the level of Police Headquarters every week, this list will be specially discussed and updated status will be taken.
Most wanted in these districts
In the list of most wanted absconding criminals, the maximum number belong to different police stations of Muzaffarpur, Patna, Begusarai, Samastipur, Araria, Gaya, Nawada and Kaimur districts. For the arrest of criminals in the state, 20 companies of Vajra Force and 47 platoons have been formed in all the districts. This special force can take action in any district. No area limit has been prescribed for its action.

Significantly, Operation Prahar is being run continuously to nab the criminals in the state. Now making it more effective, it has been asked to focus especially on the arrest of all the 300 most wanted absconding criminals. All the wanted criminals are guilty of murder, dacoity, robbery, kidnapping, extortion and other heinous crimes.
