Akasa Air Flight: Akasa Air flight hit by bird, damage shown in plane after landing
In Delhi after landing, radome damage was observed.
Akasa Air Flight: Akasa Air flight going from Ahmedabad to Delhi was hit by a bird on Thursday morning. A Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft operated by recently launched budget airline Akasa Air suffered radome damage due to a bird strike at 1900 ft. When the plane was checked after landing in Delhi, damage was seen in it. Be aware that the first commercial flight of Akasa started in August.

DGCA said that today i.e. on Thursday, Akasa B-737-8 (Max) aircraft VT-YAF operating flight QP-1333 (Ahmedabad-Delhi) experienced a bird strike during a climb of 1900 feet. In Delhi after landing, radome damage was observed. The aircraft was declared AOG (aircraft on the ground) in Delhi."
