Deepak Singh had joined the army in the year 2012 and was posted as a nursing staff in the Bihar Regiment. In January 2020, he was posted in Ladakh but after about five months, Naik Deepak Singh was martyred in an encounter with Chinese soldiers. He was married to Rekha Singh only eight months before his martyrdom. Now Rekha Singh has set a new example by joining the army.
