Bihar: In order to end the caste system spread in the society, the government is promoting inter-caste marriage with Dalits. For this, the Bihar government is also providing financial help. In such a situation, if you are thinking of doing inter-cast marriage, then today we will give you information about such a scheme, in which the government will give you 2.5 lakh rupees for inter-cast marriage.

If a girl or girl of general caste marries or marries with a scheduled caste, then the Bihar government gives about 2.5 lakh rupees to her under the Inter Caste Marriage Scheme. The main objective of this scheme is to reduce discrimination between castes in Bihar. To take advantage of this government scheme, you have to get the marriage registered under the Hindu Marriage Act 1955 or the Special Marriage Act 1954.

First of all, let us tell you that to apply in this scheme, the applicant i.e. whoever girl or boy wants to apply for this, then the age of the girl should be more than 18 years and the age of the boy should be more than 21 years. To take advantage of the scheme, the beneficiary will have to submit a pre-stamped receipt on a non-judicial-stamped paper of Rs 10 , after which Rs 1.5 lakh will be deposited directly into his account through RTGS to that beneficiary. The remaining one lakh rupees will be FD, which will be given to the beneficiary with interest after three years.
