There are strict medical standards for recruitment in the Indian Navy but some people are trying to weaken the army out of greed for money. In one such case, CBI has arrested a Navy medical personnel. Actually, the allegation is that this Navy medical worker used to hide the medical deficiencies of the soldiers joining the Navy by taking bribe.

CBI said that the accused medical worker was posted at the Indian Navy's hospital station located in Colaba, Mumbai. The accused medical personnel used to take Rs 30,000 from the candidates joining the Navy and give them unfair advantage in the medical examination and issued positive reports by hiding their medical deficiencies. CBI raided the premises of the accused and recovered many objectionable documents in this raid. CBI presented the accused in the court, from where the accused was sent to police custody on 22 November. At present CBI is conducting a detailed investigation in the case.
CBI has registered a case against accused Navy medical personnel Sanju Aralikkatti and others. The soldier who passes the physical and written test of the Navy is subjected to a medical test. A person had complained against the accused, after which the CBI took action and arrested the accused.
