Ranchi: When the CID team reached Delhi and Guwahati yesterday to investigate the arrest of three Congress MLAs from Jharkhand, they were stopped from the investigation. An inspector, two sub-inspectors and an ASI, who were part of the CID team that went to Delhi, were detained for hours at the South Campus police station. The CID team alleges that the Delhi Police has unnecessarily kept them in the police station. The same thing was seen in Guwahati also. Where the Assam Police went to take the CID officers from Bengal to Guwahati. However, two senior CID officers have been sent from Kolkata to Delhi to solve the matter.
Siddharth Mazumdar's house had to be searched:
The CID says that after questioning five people, including the arrested MLAs, the name of a person named Siddharth Majumdar of Delhi came to the fore in this case. This person had helped in reaching the MLAs with money. After this information, taking a search warrant from the Howrah court, the CID team had reached Siddharth's house located in the South Campus area of ​​Delhi on Wednesday morning. Earlier, the police of the local police station was informed about this. It is alleged that even after this he was prevented from searching Siddharth's house.
CCTV footage was to be taken at Guwahati airport:
Of the three Congress MLAs from Jharkhand who were arrested in Howrah, one had also gone to Assam. Investigation revealed that when he had gone to Assam, at that time a government car had come to pick him up at the Guwahati airport. CID sources say that he was trying to collect CCTV footage of that day from the Guwahati airport. As soon as the CID officers reached the airport to give formal information in this matter, the Assam Police team also reached and took the three officers who had gone from Kolkata with them.

Regarding the placement of the members of the West Bengal CID team in the police station in Delhi, it was said from the Union Home Department that information was received from the West Bengal government to send a team of three senior officers to Delhi for search. One ADG and two IG rank officers were said to be involved in these. But the CID team which reached Delhi, the officers of the mentioned rank were not present. Due to this, the Delhi Police stopped them from searching.
