Student organization raised questions on JNU administration regarding security
JNUSU counselor Anagha Pradeep told about the whole incident. We got the news of uproar in Narmada Hostel last night and a student was badly beaten up. Even before this, there was a fight in the Sutlej Hostel. The security office was informed about the incident but neither he nor the JNU administration took steps to ensure the safety of the students, he said. He further added, "In the afternoon when we got a message that a large number of mobs in cars with sticks and tubelights were coming here, the JNUSU president informed the Delhi Police. But no action was taken. He further said, the security of JNU has let us down time and again.
