Coronavirus infection seems to be increasing once again in India. In the last 24 hours, 21,880 new cases of Covid-19 have been registered in the country while 60 patients have died due to infection. At the same time, 21, 566 cases of the corona were reported in the country on the previous day, while according to the data of the Union Health Ministry, the death toll has increased to 5,25,870 due to the loss of 45 more patients.
2,289 new cases of Covid in Maharashtra, six died
On Thursday, 2,289 more patients infected with the corona virus were confirmed in Maharashtra and six people died. The Health Department said that the total cases in the state have gone up to 80,27,395, while 1,48,045 people have lost their lives due to the virus. The number of patients undergoing treatment for infection in the state has now increased to 14,519, out of which 5,125 patients are undergoing treatment in Pune, 1937 in Mumbai and 1384 infected in Nagpur.
700 new cases of Covid-19 in Chhattisgarh
In Chhattisgarh, 700 more people have been confirmed to be infected with the corona virus during the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of infected with Covid-19 in the state has gone up to 11,61,254 till Thursday. Health department officials in the state said on Thursday that today 12 people have been discharged from hospitals after becoming infection free, while 388 people completed the period of home isolation. Seven patients infected with the corona virus have died in the state on Thursday.
250 new cases came in Rajasthan
During the last 24 hours in Rajasthan, 250 new cases of Covid-19 were reported while one patient died. According to a spokesperson of the Medical and Health Department, one infected died in Bharatpur on Thursday, taking the total number of people who lost their lives to this deadly disease in the state to 9,577. He said that 250 more newly infected patients have been found in the state and now the number of patients under treatment has increased to 1,575.
2486 new cases of corona virus infection in Bengal
On Monday, 2486 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in West Bengal, after which the number of infected has increased to 20,79,491. The Health Department gave this information on Thursday. The department said that after the death of six more people due to infection, the death toll has gone up to 21,300. It has been said that now the number of patients under treatment in the state is 27,755, while after the recovery of 3124 patients, the number of people who have become infection free has now increased to 20,30,436.
