Teacher dies of dengue in Chapra
A teacher from Chhapra died during treatment at a private hospital in Patna on Wednesday. Prabha Devi, 68, a resident of Ashok Nagar, Kankarbagh, admitted to PMCH in Patna on Sunday, died due to dengue. Along with this, a lawyer of Patna High Court, Rajiv Lochan, died of dengue disease. On Wednesday, a 10-year-old child resident of Bihta of Salimpur police station area, suffering from dengue, died in NMCH.
150 police personnel and officers in the grip of dengue in Patna
The outbreak of dengue is increasing among the Patna Police. After this, some uneasiness has increased in the health department. So far, more than 150 police officers and jawans, including three station in-charges, have come under the grip of dengue in Patna. The work and research are being affected due to the sick police personnel being on leave. The police stations of Jakkanpur, Rajiv Nagar and Khagaul in Patna are suffering from dengue. At the same time, police stationed at SKpuri, Kankarbagh, Peerbahor, Patrakar Nagar and Buddha Colony, besides about one and a half dozen police stations have fallen ill with dengue. All these police personnel are not coming to work due to dengue.
