The arrival of Pakistani drones continues in BSF sector Gurdaspur in Punjab. Taking advantage of the fog, Pak smugglers are making nefarious attempts to smuggle heroin and arms consignments to the Indian border. Drone movement was seen in this sector twice on Sunday night. Border Security Force personnel sent the drone back after firing about 100 rounds.
According to the information, drone movement has been seen twice in the night in Gurdaspur sector. At 10:20 pm, the sound of a drone was heard at Chandu Wadala outpost in Gurdaspur. The jawans fired 26 rounds. 6 light bombs were also fired to see the correct movement of the drone. After which the drone returned to Pakistan. At the same time, a few minutes after this incident, again at 10:48 am, the sound of drone was heard in BOP Kassowal, which was fired by the deployed jawans by firing. During this, the jawans detected the movement of 4 light bomb stained drones and 72 rounds were fired.
Since the incident, a search operation has been conducted in the area by the BSF and the local police, in which no recovery has been made. Drone movement was also seen in village Chandu Wadala on Sunday. After which the search was conducted, but nothing suspicious was found.
