Three main routes have been prepared Three main routes have been prepared under this project. The first is the shallow tunnel, which will directly connect Yashobhoomi and Dwarka to IGI Airport. The second is the right turn underpass, which will allow one to reach Gurugram (towards Sirhaul) directly from Dwarka. The third is the combo of airport underpass and right turn underpass, which will provide the fastest and easiest route from IGI Terminal 3 to Gurugram. From the security point of view, state-of-the-art arrangements have been made in this tunnel, such as high quality CCTV cameras, emergency exits and a fully equipped control room.
Which vehicles are prohibited from entering? However, the entry of some vehicles has also been prohibited on this new route. Vehicles taller than 4.5 meters, two-wheelers, three-wheelers and tankers carrying flammable substances will not be allowed on this route. This project will benefit the most those who come to Delhi daily from Gurugram, Faridabad and Manesar or reach IGI Airport.
Apart from this, this route will also prove to be very useful for those coming to Delhi from cities like Sonipat, Panipat and Chandigarh. It can be said that this project will completely change the traffic system of Delhi-NCR and will make the daily journey of millions of people faster, safer and stress-free.
