Gyanvapi Masjid Case: Hearing of Gyanvapi Masjid Shringar Gauri case today, petition for permission to worship
The Gyanvapi Masjid case will be heard in the district court of Varanasi on Thursday.
UP: Hearing in the Gyanvapi Masjid and Shringar Gauri case will be held in Varanasi district court on Thursday. In the district court, the Hindu side has demanded to hand over the Gyanvapi Masjid Shringar Gauri complex to the Hindus. Apart from banning the entry of Muslims in the petition, an application for permission to worship has also been filed.
The hearing of the Gyanvapi Masjid and Shringar Gauri case was held in the Allahabad High Court on Wednesday. But the hearing could not be completed. On Wednesday, the Arrangement Committee presented its arguments in the High Court. The Masjid Committee on Wednesday referred to the Waqf Act and the 1991 Place of Worship Act.
The debate of the Masjid Committee in the Gyanvapi Masjid and Shringar Gauri case could not be completed on Wednesday. Now the matter will be heard on November 3. On this day the Muslim side will first complete its debate. After that the other side will get a chance. In this case, along with Rakhi Singh, 10 people including the five plaintiff women and the UP government have been made parties to the Gyanvapi Masjid's Arrangement Committee.
Significantly, in the Gyanvapi Masjid case, during the survey, the Hindu side claimed to have found an alleged Shivling in the Vazukhana. After which another petition was filed in the court. In that petition, permission has been sought from the court for worship in the alleged Shivling. Apart from this, a demand has been made in this petition to hand over the place of alleged Shivling to the Hindu side. Whereas in the petition a demand has also been made to ban the entry of Muslims. The Masjid Arrangement Committee has filed an appeal in the High Court against the decision of Varanasi District Judge Court on September 12.
