The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted above-normal rainfall for the country during the southwest monsoon season, spanning June to September. However, some regions including parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh may experience below-normal rainfall.
