IT Raid In UP: Income Tax Department officials raided Gopal Rai's house in Chitwapur, Lucknow. Gopal Rai runs an organization named Central Public Grievances and Investigation Institute. The Income Tax Department has taken this step after the fraud regarding funding of political parties. The Income Tax Department team reached his house at around 9 am and started raiding. However, what has happened to the team during this time, it is not known.

According to the information, the Income Tax team is conducting raids in 24 cities of UP. During this, the team has raided the office of Janrajya Party in Kanpur and the house and office of national RS Yadav and another. Along with this, Ravi Shankar Singh Yadav in Kidwai Nagar Y Block and Party Office Keshav Nagar W Block and Kidwai Nagar in Kakadev. The Income Tax Department has initiated action against such political parties following the instructions of the Election Commission, which are continuously collecting donations but not participating in the election process.
