Actually, the Border Roads Organization has started the construction work of 135 km long road near LAC. The road is important for movement of troops and access to weapons, besides providing rapid access to the Tibetan refugee settlement at Dungti, the ITBP Hena post and the advance landing ground at Fukche. Till now this road was sandy, on which the demand to build a road was being raised for many years. On the other hand, a lot of work has been done by China in this sector.
