In the wake of rising tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, Israel’s Ambassador to India, Reuven Azar, addressed the situation surrounding the Lebanon pager blast and the subsequent accusations against Israel. The diplomat emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety of Israeli citizens and condemned Hezbollah’s recent aggressive actions.

“We are very keen on getting our population back to their homes in northern Israel. They have been removed from their cities as a result of the completely unprovoked attack of Hezbollah from Lebanon since 8th October,” said Ambassador Azar, while expressing concern over the displacement of many Israeli citizens due to the escalating conflict.

He also highlighted that the resolution is a vital instrument to ensure that Hezbollah does not pose an immediate threat to Israeli border towns.
