Maharashtra Political Crisis|Supreme Court: Shiv Sena's rebel Eknath Shinde faction got a big relief from the Supreme Court on Monday. While hearing the petition of Eknath Shinde, the Supreme Court has stayed the action of the Deputy Speaker for the time being. That is, till July 11, the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly will not be able to take any action against Eknath Shinde and the MLAs who went with him to Guwahati.
Hearing in Supreme Court will be held again on July 11
The Supreme Court has issued notice to Deputy Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Narhari Jirwal, Secretary of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and Central Government besides other concerned parties. The Supreme Court has said that the matter will be heard on July 11. Till then no action will be taken on the notice issued by Deputy Speaker Narhari Jirwal to Eknath Shinde and 15 of his associates.
Supreme Court also issued notice to Shiv Sena leader
The Supreme Court has also issued notices to Shiv Sena leaders Ajay Chaudhary, Sunil Prabhu. All these people have been asked by the top court to file their reply within 5 days. After this, the court fixed the date of hearing on July 11. It is noteworthy that in the midst of the ongoing political crisis in Maharashtra, the Eknath Shinde faction had moved the Supreme Court.
Shiv Sena MLAs rebelled against Uddhav
In fact, in Maharashtra, more than 40 Shiv Sena MLAs led by Eknath Shinde have revolted against their own party. They say that Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has deviated from the issue of Hindutva. Not only this, the rebel MLAs even say that Uddhav Thackeray does not give time to the MLAs of his own party. On the other hand, all the work of the people of NCP is being done.
Shivsena will have to return to Hindutva issue: Shinde faction
The rebel MLAs have told Uddhav Thackeray that he will have to return to the issue of Hindutva. For this, he will have to break ties with the constituents of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), Congress and Nationalist Congress Party. Uddhav should form a coalition government with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). At first, the Shiv Sena tried to persuade the Eknath Shinde faction, but now they are being asked to return with a warning tone.
Shinde faction had reached the Supreme Court against the Deputy Speaker's action
The new Chief Whip of the party has been appointed in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. A new leader was also appointed. On the request of the new leader, the Deputy Speaker started the process of disqualifying the Eknath Shinde faction. Disqualification notices were issued to 16 MLAs. Against this action, Eknath Shinde and his associates took refuge in the Supreme Court. Now he has got a big relief from the Supreme Court.
