NIA Action: NIA arrested terrorist Harpreet Singh, accused in Ludhiana court blast

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested absconding terrorist Harpreet Singh on his arrival from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 1 December. The NIA said Harpreet, the self-styled head of the Pakistan-based International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF), is an associate of Lakhbir Singh Rode and was one of the conspirators of the December 2021 Ludhiana Court building blast. One person was killed and several were injured in the blast.
According to the NIA, acting on Rode's instructions, Harpreet coordinated the delivery of specially made IEDs, which were sent from Pakistan to his associates in India. It was used in the Ludhiana Court Complex blast.
