Donald Trump defines Barack Obama as “a weak and ineffective leader”
Donald Trump did not remain silent in the face of the criticism launched by Barack Obama where he described the memorandum of understanding signed with Iran as inadequate
President Donald Trump is convinced that Democrat Barack Obama was “a weak and ineffective leader” who did not dare to stop Iran's nuclear program during the eight years he was at the helm of the White House.
“Obama did not stop giving them billions of dollars in cash and never used our then-weakened military for what should have been done to control the main sponsor of terrorism in the world, Iran,” the Republican president wrote on the Truth Social platform.
The controversial accusations arise in response to the 64-year-old Hawaiian's criticism expressed in an interview with the “Today” program, which is broadcast by the NBC News television network, where he argued that the United States could be “worse” than before the war with Iran began.
“We have fought a war, spent billions of dollars, put our armed forces under enormous pressure, many people have died and it seems that we are back to square one of the war, only maybe a little worse,” he said.
In addition to defending the nuclear deal he negotiated during his term, Obama emphasized that Trump made an unfortunate mistake during his first term by withdrawing the United States from the pact, as this allowed the Iranians to better develop their nuclear capabilities.
In this regard, the New York tycoon pointed out that in Tehran, Barack Obama was considered as easy to dominate as Joe Biden, since he showed himself incapable of making the United States respect.
"They had NO respect for him. They thought he was, like the sleepy Joe Biden, a weak and ineffective leader, and in this they were completely right," he stressed.
Characteristic of his personality, Trump proclaimed himself as the only president to manage to put an end to the threat that Iran posed to the world due to how close he came to achieving the necessary enrichment of uranium to manufacture nuclear weapons.
"Iran got away with it for 47 years, until I came along. Then everything changed. AMERICA IS BACK!!!" he concluded.
The controversial point is that the Islamic Republic has not yet signed an official and definitive agreement where it commits to renouncing the development of its nuclear program and also not to close the Strait of Hormuz again as it has been doing, even with a memorandum of understanding negotiated with the United States where it is guaranteed a fund of $300 billion dollars to help the reconstruction of its areas destroyed since February 28 when its territory began to be bombed.
