Today, the Surat court has given its verdict in the case of remarks made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in 2019 regarding the Modi surname. The court has convicted Rahul Gandhi. The court sentenced him to two years in jail. However, he got bail immediately in the case.
Rahul Gandhi posted on Twitter after the sentence was announced.He wrote, "My religion is based on truth and nonviolence. Truth is my God, nonviolence the means to it."
