Preparation to provide quality education in government schools on the lines of private schools in Jharkhand
The Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand has taken a step towards presenting the teachers of these schools as changemakers.
On the guidelines of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the process of providing quality education to the children of government schools on the lines of private schools has been started. For this, emphasis is being laid on secondary and higher secondary level education in the Adarsh ​​Vidyalaya program. The government has taken a step towards projecting the teachers of these schools as changemakers. For this, the Azim Premji Foundation is also providing training to the headmasters and teachers teaching in the model school.
Model school teachers training
In the first phase of the training program, special attention is being given to English, Science, Mathematics, Social Science and Hindi subjects. The Department of School Education and Literacy is supported by the Azim Premji Foundation for conceptualizing and conducting the capacity building program of the School Headmaster, DIET Faculty, subject specific master trainers and key stakeholders of Adarsh ​​Vidyalaya. Let us tell you that institutes like IIM are also providing training to the headmasters and teachers of model schools.
The program is being imparted through a series of workshops for around four thousand model schools of Jharkhand with an aim to create an effective ecosystem and provide better education to the children. In the first phase of the training, the Azim Premji Foundation interacted with the Principals of 80 schools identified as Changemakers to develop a better vision for the school, improve the quality of the school, enhance leadership capacity for quality improvement, as part of a 10-month training framework. , development of learning culture, creation of learning environment and other training have been given.

Capacity building workshops have been planned for the trainees in 10 months training. Through this, subject specialization of teachers teaching at the secondary and higher secondary level i.e. class IX to XII will be identified. Comprehensive capacity building program will be organized for 150 DIET faculties, which will include visualization of DIETs and job description. Under this scheme, a total of three workshops will be organized every 5 days, where the capacity of 200 subject specific master trainers in English, Science, Mathematics, Social Science, Hindi and Science will be developed.
