In Jodhpur district, there was chaos due to blast in five gas cylinders at a wedding ceremony. In the accident, 60 people including the groom and his parents got scorched. There, four people died. The accident took place at Bhungra village near Shergarh at 3.15 pm on Thursday. Here there was a wedding ceremony at Takht Singh's house, the procession was about to leave the house, when suddenly the cylinders exploded. The injured have been admitted to hospital.
Collector Himanshu Gupta reached the hospital after getting the information about the incident. Dilip Kachhawa, Principal of Dr. SN Medical College said, out of 60 injured people, 51 have been admitted to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Jodhpur. Of these, eight people have suffered more than 90 percent burns. 48 people are admitted in the ward and one child is in ICU. While four people, including two children aged five and seven, died.
Baratis were present at one place…
Where this incident took place, a large number of Baratis were present there. The scorched people were brought to Shergarh. Some people from here have been referred to the burn unit of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Jodhpur. Rural SP Anil Kayal told, five cylinders were burst. While cooking, suddenly a cylinder leaked and caught fire. Meanwhile, five cylinders nearby also caught fire and explosions started. Around 100 people were present where the cylinder exploded.
Chaos in the hospital...
After getting the information about the accident, the Mahatma Gandhi Hospital Management of Jodhpur was alerted. The injured arrived one after the other at around 5.30 pm, creating an atmosphere of chaos in the hospital. During the wedding ceremony, women were sitting and talking in a square of the hall. During this a cylinder blast fell on the women. The number of women among the injured is said to be more. Here, on getting information about the incident, RCA President Vaibhav Gehlot and MLA Manisha Panwar, Shergarh MLA Meena Kanwar also reached the hospital.

Surendra Singh of Shergarh was to go to Khokhsar's procession from Bhungra village on Thursday. Groom's sister Gawri Kanwar told, we had come to attend the wedding. More than 300 people had gathered here. The ceremony of offering ghee to Surendra Singh took place on Wednesday night itself. The procession was to go in the afternoon, but before that the accident happened. About 20 cylinders were brought for the wedding, he said.

Second cylinder blast case after two months
Tell that this is the second case in two months in Jodhpur, when the cylinder blast case has come to the fore. Earlier on October 8, a similar incident took place during gas refilling in Kirti Nagar of the city. In this too, more than 15 people were burnt and more than five died. The special thing is that after two months, on December 8, the cylinder blast incident in Shergarh, Jodhpur again shook.
