The case of trying to buy TRS MLAs in Telangana doesn't seem to stop. Now the matter has reached the Supreme Court in this matter. Actually, a public interest litigation has been filed in the Supreme Court regarding this matter. In this petition, there has been a demand for a SIT investigation under the supervision of the Supreme Court regarding the alleged horse trading in Telangana. Lawyer ML Sharma has also filed a public interest litigation in the Supreme Court demanding that strict action should be taken against the culprits after investigation.  

Not only this, the petition claims that horse-trading is not easy to detect and has become a serious threat to the infrastructure of a democratic country. The petition, filed by Advocate ML Sharma, contends that MLAs who take bribe to convert loyalty, as public servants, are committing an offense under the Prevention of Corruption (PC) Act. Politicians bribing MLAs also commit offenses under the PC Act.  

He has alleged in his petition that there has been a conspiracy to topple the elected governments in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi and Rajasthan. This conspiracy is a serious threat to the basic infrastructure of a democratic country. He also said that it can be stopped with further prosecution of the accused persons involved in the present case. 

Advocate ML Sharma, in his petition, has sought registration of a case under sections 420, 120B of IPC and Prevention of Corruption Act. Along with this, a party TRS has also been made a party in this petition. The PIL states that in the interest of justice, the Supreme Court should intervene in the matter. He has accused PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah of trying to gain political power by misusing the position in the petition. 

It is worth mentioning that on Thursday, while accusing the BJP, while holding a press conference in Munugode assembly constituency, several videos related to horse-trading were shared. During this, he had claimed that the BJP was trying to buy his MLAs. KCR also targeted PM Modi. He said that PM Modi also encourages such politics. He has sent the documents of the MLA purchase case to the Supreme Court. 

Telangana CM KCR said during the press conference that whenever democracy is threatened, the court has protected the country. The complete documents of the purchase case of MLAs have been sent to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. He said that these documents have also been sent to all the Chief Ministers and media houses of the country. KCR said that he requested the Chief Justice that the MLAs should punish those involved in the purchase.
