Former IPL chairman Lalit Modi has got a big relief from the Supreme Court. In fact, the apex court on Friday declined to pass any order on a plea alleging that Lalit Modi had made derogatory remarks against former Attorney General and senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi in a social media post.

A bench of Justices Sanjeev Khanna and MM Sundaresh said the parties are mature enough to make such statements and asked the lawyers to sort out the issue. It is nothing but an extension of the anger of a family member. Don't take it too far. Whenever you start fighting in public, it is always harmful. We are not passing orders but you use your good office to ensure that. 

Actually, senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi had called Lalit Modi a fugitive, after which Lalit Modi was infuriated and had told Rohatgi a lot by writing a social media post. Modi said stop calling me a fugitive. You don't know that I can buy and sell you a thousand times.
