In Uttarakhand, the weather changed after noon and snowfall started in the hilly areas. There was snowfall in Kedarnath and Yamunotri Dham. At the same time, it rained with strong thunderstorms in the low-lying areas including Yamuna Ghati. After the snowfall, the cold has increased in the dhams.

According to the Meteorological Department, till April 30, there is a possibility of snowfall along with very light rain in some places of Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh and in the rest of the districts.
