Due to illegal fireworks, a family in San Bernardino lost all their belongings and must now face the loss of a home that had belonged to them for four decades.

The desperation of the residents of a San Bernardino neighborhood was captured on video as they tried to put out the fire that broke out in the Scott family home, in a fire that started in the backyard during the celebrations of the July 4 holiday weekend.

“That's all we have left: memories and stories,” declared Tawnya Scott, after losing the house she lived in for 40 years.
