Israeli diplomat Kobbi Shoshani participated in the cleanup campaign at Mumbai beach under the 'Swachhta Hi Seva' campaign. Also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this initiative. Israel's Consul General in Mumbai Kobbi Shoshani said, 'I come from a very small country Israel, we are not connected by land, we are connected by sea. Environment is not an issue only in India, it is a global issue.

He said, 'I think your Prime Minister has done a very good job. If he asks us to do something, we will follow it. This is my fourth or fifth day cleaning beaches this week. This is very important.' He further said that certainly Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the leader of the world today in the matter of environment and he adopts a personal approach... You see the people here, everyone is following his request and it is very important.

Shoshani actively participated in the cleanliness and cleaned the beach with a broom. He picked up the garbage with his hands and threw it into the dustbin. On the eve of Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary, 'Swachhta Hi Seva' campaign was launched across the country on Sunday.
