The International Cricket Council (ICC) has asked the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to inform whether it will play in the ODI World Cup to be held in India. PCB chief Najam Sethi has made it clear that if the Indian team does not tour Pakistan for the Asia Cup, then their team will also not go to India for the ODI World Cup. BCCI worried about hybrid model of PCB

Sources said, “The ICC and the World Cup host Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are worried about Najam Sethi's hybrid model. Sethi has suggested a hybrid model for the Asia Cup ahead of the World Cup, but officials are concerned that if the model is accepted for the regional competition, the PCB will face questions from the ICC over Pakistan playing in India.
