The son of the Portuguese star was called up for the Federations Tournament in Turkey
Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., firstborn son of the Al Nassr striker, will once again wear the Portugal shirt. The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) confirmed on Monday his inclusion in the 22-player squad for the Federations Cup Tournament, which will be held in the Turkish city of Antalya between October 30 and November 4.

At 15 years old, the young attacker continues his sporting development in the youth categories of Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, the same club where his father shines. His call-up represents a new step in the career of a player who had already made his debut with the Portuguese U-15 team in May, during the Vlatko Markovic Tournament in Croatia.
In that competition, 'Cristianinho' made a great impression by scoring a brace in the final against the host country, a match that Portugal won 3-2. In that tournament, the young footballer wore the number 7, the same iconic number as his father, and played as a left winger, the position that Cristiano Ronaldo occupied in his early years as a professional.
A talent with multiple possible nationalities, but with a Portuguese heart
Although everything indicates that his international future is linked to Portugal, Cristiano Jr. could represent up to five different national teams: Portugal, the United States, Spain, England or Cape Verde.
The son of the Portuguese captain was born in San Diego, California, which gives him the right to also opt for the United States. However, he has never lived in the North American country, and his football training has developed entirely in Europe and the Middle East.
Before joining Al Nassr, Cristiano Jr. passed through the academies of Manchester United and Juventus of Turin, following in his father's footsteps during his spells at both clubs. His progress and his relationship with the FPF reflect a strong bond with the nation that made Cristiano Ronaldo a legend.
