Endrick leaves Real Madrid and arrives at Olympique Lyonnais in France
Olympique Lyonnais finalized the loan of 19-year-old Brazilian striker Endrick Felipe from Real Madrid, in a move designed to give him consistent playing time ahead of the 2026 World Cup. The loan will run until the end of the current season, June 30, 2026, for a fee of one million euros, an amount equivalent to half of the footballer's salary for the next six months.

The French club officially announced the striker's arrival with a video posted on social media, showing him walking through the streets of Lyon and ending with the phrase "Christmas is coming early this year."
Endrick will join training on December 29 under the orders of Portuguese coach Paulo Fonseca and will wear the number 9 jersey, a number with symbolic weight at the club, worn between 1999 and 2003 by Brazilian Sonny Anderson, a historic idol of Les Gones.
A new context to relaunch his season
Lyon emphasizes that his attacking profile, his impact in decisive areas, and his energy will be key to facing the second half of a season full of objectives. The French team is currently fifth in Ligue 1 and leads the Europa League standings, with five wins and only one loss, a scenario that will allow the young striker to compete in a demanding environment and play a prominent role. Endrick's time at Real Madrid showed positive signs, although his playing time was inconsistent. Last season he played 37 matches, accumulating 848 minutes and scoring seven goals, five of them in the Copa del Rey, a tournament in which he was instrumental in Real Madrid reaching the final. However, in 2025 his participation was more limited: just 99 minutes and only one start, in a context where coach Xabi Alonso opted for other attacking alternatives. Olympique Lyonnais themselves emphasized that the Brazilian arrives with solid experience at the highest level and with a maturity forged in demanding sporting environments. They believe their addition will strengthen the team at a crucial stage of the season and allow him to further his individual development. Born in Taguatinga, near Brasilia, Endrick came up through the Palmeiras youth system, where he quickly established himself as one of the most promising talents of his generation. A precocious goalscorer, he shone in international youth tournaments such as the prestigious 2022 Montaigu Tournament and signed his first professional contract at just 16 years old. Before moving to Europe, he played 82 matches for the Sao Paulo club, scoring 21 goals and winning two Brazilian championships.
