Jaime Jaquez Jr. had a great night in the Miami Heat's 115-107 victory over the New York Knicks this Sunday.

The Mexican player finished with 17 points, 8 of 12 in field goals, and also got five rebounds and five assists in 26 minutes on the court.

The Heat's top scorer was Norman Powell with 29 points, and the Miami team continued the remarkable 146-114 victory achieved last Friday at the Memphis Grizzlies' court.

This was the Miami Heat's first home game since the betting scandal in which Terry Rozier was arrested along with other basketball figures.

Miami has scored 382 points so far, the most by anyone Heat team in three games to open a season. The 2019-20 Heat scored 360.

After this victory, the Miami Heat have a record of two wins and one loss. Jalen Brunson scored 37 points and Mikal Bridges had 20 for New York.

Karl Anthony Towns finished with 15 points and 18 rebounds for the Knicks, who also improved to 2-1.

The Miami Heat have a three-game week against the Charlotte Hornets and San Antonio Spurs, and close out the week against the Los Angeles Lakers.

San Antonio Spurs remain undefeated with a huge Wembanyama

The Spurs remain undefeated at the start of the season. Despite blowing a 26-point lead in the third quarter, they defeated the Brooklyn Nets with another Wembanyama performance.

The Frenchman, who had scored 40 and 29 points in the first two wins, respectively, posted a double-double of 31 points and 14 rebounds against the Nets, adding 4 assists, 3 steals and 6 blocks.
