Cheap Chinese Smartphones Ban In India: After banning Chinese apps, the Government of India (Modi Govt) is now preparing to strike on Chinese smartphone companies as well. According to media reports, the purpose of this decision of the government is to maintain the dominance of local companies in the entry-level segment.

With this decision of the government, companies like Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, Poco, Redmi, Realme are going to get a big blow. However, so far no official statement has come out from the government or any Chinese company in this matter. The government is going to take this decision to promote indigenous companies like Lava and Micromax.

In a Reuters report, it is being said that since the craze of cheap Chinese mobile phones has increased in the country, domestic mobile companies have suffered a lot since then. Now the Indian government is preparing to impose a ban on Chinese mobile phones priced at $ 150 or less i.e. Rs 12000 or less to support domestic companies and to give a blow to cheap Chinese mobile companies. Xiaomi Corporation will get the biggest blow from this decision, because it is the number 1 company in selling budget smartphones. This company sells smartphones under brands like Xiaomi, Redmi, Mi, POCO etc.
