Many low-income and resource families in the state of California could receive a stimulus check of up to $725, which is financed by the Family Financial Support Pilot Program (FFESP).
The financial aid is aimed at mainly to households in Sacramento County and according to the director of community development, Jessica Martinez, this initiative's main objective is to help low-income families face barriers and reduce economic inequalities while guaranteeing a stable and healthy environment for the children of the households that receive this benefit.
After being approved by the entity, households must register to obtain a credit card or bank account at SAFE Credit Union in which they can receive the benefit, for this they must provide the program with their personal information.
According to the program, the last payment was made on June 15, 2025, therefore, the next shipments will be made on the 15th of each month until the following year.
