More than 80 people die by Israeli shots in aid centers in Gaza
At least 81 dead and 150 wounded in Gaza after Israeli attack on people waiting for humanitarian aid
At least 81 Gazans died this Sunday and about 150 were wounded after the Israeli army opened fire on a group of people waiting for the arrival of aid trucks in the Gaza Strip.
The bodies of at least 37 Palestinians arrived at the Al Shifa Hospital in the Gaza capital. Another 19 bodies were recovered at the Sheikh Radwan Clinic. According to the EFE news agency. The bodies of around 50 people are estimated to still be lying in the street in Beit Lahia.
Shortly afterwards, two more bodies arrived at the Al Saraya field hospital in Gaza City, Palestinian Red Crescent spokeswoman Nebal Farkash told EFE.
Hospital overwhelmed by number of wounded
This center was forced to create new beds after being overwhelmed by around 120 wounded, some of them seriously, the spokeswoman added. Finally, two more bodies remain in the morgue of Baptista al-Alhi Hospital, according to a medical source.
In southern Gaza, in the Saudi neighborhood of Rafah, at least six Palestinians were shot dead near the distribution point of the so-called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), according to a source at the Nasser Hospital morgue.
Tragedies like this are repeated daily, as this US-backed organization distributes food on a very limited basis in militarized compounds, with Israeli troops stationed just two kilometers away, according to the Haaretz newspaper, with the green light to fire towards the Palestinians in order to disperse the crowds.
