The wait will end in 2027: Vin Diesel confirms the premiere of ‘Fast and Furious 11’
Fast and Furious is known for being one of the most important action franchises of recent times
Fans of the 'Fast and Furious' franchise have reason to get excited, as Vin Diesel confirmed new details about the eleventh installment of the saga, which will mark the end of the iconic series. During his participation in Fuel Fest, an event for car lovers in Pomona, California, the actor shared with attendees what they can expect from this latest film, which is tentatively scheduled for release in April 2027.
A return to the origins
Diesel revealed that he agreed to the release date under three key conditions: Taking the franchise back to Los Angeles, the setting where it all began.
In addition, they want to try to reconnect with the street racing culture, a central element of the first films, in addition to reuniting Dom Toretto and Brian O'Conner, the latter originally played by the late Paul Walker.
What's next after Fast X?
With Diesel pledging to close out the series with a homage to his racing roots and beloved characters, fans can expect an action-packed finale filled with nostalgia and possibly a touching tribute to Paul Walker.
Meanwhile, the entertainment world is still awaiting further developments on the highly anticipated conclusion, which promises to cap off one of cinema's most successful franchises.
