Four dead after boat capsizes in San Diego

A wooden boat believed to be carrying migrants to the United States capsized Friday night in waters off San Diego, an incident in which four people died and four others were hospitalized, the Coast Guard reported Saturday.
Border Patrol officers found the boat Friday night in the surf off Imperial Beach. Shortly before midnight, six people were found on the beach; one was already dead, while another was rescued after being found under a boat. About two hours later, authorities received reports of a person in the water near the Imperial Beach pier. A Coast Guard team arrived at the scene, where they found three people in the ocean, all deceased.
