"The president of the United States has promised to muzzle his pets in Tel Aviv. If they disobey their master, Iran will teach them a lesson," he said, responding to statements by Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, in which he in turn warned that Israel would not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons.
And he added: “Any threat against our people and our leaders will receive an immediate and forceful response.”
The United States and Iran held technical talks in Doha on Wednesday with the aim of agreeing on the flow of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz and achieving a lasting ceasefire, according to a source with direct knowledge of the negotiations and an Iranian official.
