The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) issued a stay-at-home order for a massive fire that broke out Wednesday afternoon at a cold storage facility in the Boyle Heights area.
Residents living in the area are asked to keep their doors and windows closed, bring their pets indoors, and stay indoors due to heavy toxic smoke until they are given permission to lift the lockdown.
Motorists traveling on the 710 Freeway were also asked to keep their vehicle windows closed as smoke was moving in that direction.
