Los Angeles firefighter dies in vehicle accident while off duty
Stan Reza, 35, an LAFD firefighter for three years, died Friday after his truck collided with a truck on the 605 Freeway in Whittier.
An off-duty Los Angeles firefighter died early Friday morning as a result of a car accident in Whittier.
The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) identified the deceased firefighter as Stan Reza, 35 years old and with three years of experience at the institution. He did not mention his city of residence and the statement published on social networks did not include a photograph.
According to the LAFD, Reza, who was off-duty, was involved in the accident that occurred at approximately 2:20 a.m. Friday in the northbound lanes of the 605 Freeway near Beverly Boulevard in Whittier.
