Two people were injured, one of them in serious condition, as a result of a shootout caused by a subject armed with a gun who fired at a group of people early this Sunday in downtown Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported that the shooting broke out shortly after 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Main Street.
According to the first reports, four people had been hit by bullets. However, an LAPD spokesman said detectives later determined that only two victims had been injured.
