The California Highway Patrol (CHP) arrested a motorcyclist who was caught traveling at 130 miles per hour (209 km/h) on Freeway 5 in Orange County.
According to the CHP, a commander of the corporation, aboard a fixed-wing aircraft, was the first to discover the suspect, who was traveling on a red motorcycle when he exceeded 100 miles per hour (160 km/h). The incident occurred on July 4.
The CHP commander reported the motorcyclist as he was speeding in the northbound lane of Freeway 5 in the San Juan Capistrano area, near Saddleback College.
