Providing an update at 6:30 PM on May 13, the Chief Minister revealed that Assam Police had identified and taken action against individuals involved in spreading anti-India narratives online. “Crackdown on anti-nationals continues,” CM Sarma stated firmly, adding that two people had been apprehended based on their social media behavior.
According to the update, Sahin Ahmed Mazumdar was arrested by the Hailakandi Police, while Intesab Ahmed Laskar was taken into custody by the Cachar Police.
