Hyundai to launch new electric compact SUV in India with a range of over 400 km

New Delhi. Car manufacturer Hyundai is currently working on a new SUV for India which will be introduced in the market soon. Apart from this, the company will also launch many new models in the market. These include the new Hyundai Kona facelift, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and a new compact electric SUV. The compact SUV that the company will launch in India is expected to come with a range of more than 400 km.

The new Hyundai compact SUV is expected to be priced between Rs 15-18 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It will rival cars like the Tata Nexon EV and the upcoming Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV. The new Hyundai compact electric SUV will be based on the Hyundai Venue and will measure around 4 meters in length. That is, it will be a sub-4 meter compact SUV.
In India, the Hyundai Venue competes with models like the Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger and the Mahindra XUV300. The Venue is available with three powertrain options. This car is equipped with many premium features and that is why customers like it very much.
More details about the company's new electric compact SUV have not been revealed yet. We are expecting Hyundai to launch it by the end of 2023 or by the middle of 2024. The company has already confirmed that preparations are being made to introduce six new electric vehicles in India by 2028. This new compact electric SUV can get a range of more than 400 kms with a single motor setup in it.
