Social Security: payment dates for retirees in the month of July
Next Wednesday, July 9, checks will be sent to retirees after 1997 born between the 1st and 10th of any month
The Social Security Administration (SSA) sends checks to its beneficiaries every month, and through a payment schedule it informs them of the exact days on which they will receive the money.
Social Security benefits both retirees who retired before and after 1997, as well as those insured by the Supplemental Security Income and Disability Insurance social programs.
For retirees who retired after 1997, payments will be made in three rounds. The first to receive their check will be those born between the 1st and 10th of each month, next Wednesday, July 9th.
The second round will be on Wednesday, July 16th, and corresponds to retirees born between the 11th and 20th of any month. Finally, those born between the 20th and 31st of any month will receive their payments on Wednesday, July 23rd.
The amounts for these retirees range from $2,000 to $5,000, depending on several factors, but primarily their retirement age, as this can influence the amount received monthly.
