Our goal is to address and improve the situation of these restaurants," he said. With approximately 6,000 operating locations, the closures represent 5% of the company's establishments. The chain's decision is to improve its services with new equipment, operators, and technology. Finally, its latest report revealed that Wendy's, like other fast-food chains, has experienced a decline in sales, registering a 4.7% decrease in store sales and a 2.6% decrease in global sales.
