1800 applications have come for the spot round in Patna University. On Sunday, the portal was closed after taking applications till 2 pm on only one day. Of these, 1587 applications have come for general courses and 213 applications for vocational courses. According to the seats which are left vacant, the merit list was released late on Sunday itself. Accordingly, the nomination will be taken on August 30 and 31.
Enrollment will close on 31st August
Late night nomination will be completely closed on 31st August itself and no nomination will be taken after that. An induction meet will be organized in all colleges on 1st September. If desired, after this, the concerned departments can conduct induction meet at a small level in their respective departments also. Classes for all new students will start from September 2. All classes will compulsorily run in offline mode.
Guidelines will be given in the induction meet
The induction meet of the students is on 1st September. Also, this year the newly enrolled students will be taught according to the new pattern i.e. Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). In the induction meet itself, the general information about the CBCS pattern and what is already new in it and how it will be taught, will be given by the teachers. Along with this, information regarding the campus, related activities and discipline etc. will also be given to the students.
Application in PG till 7th September
The process of application for enrollment in postgraduate is going on. Online application will be taken for enrollment till September 7. After this the portal will be closed. After this, the first merit list will be released by September 10. From September 11 to 13, the nomination will be taken as per the first merit list.
By the end of September all the merit list will be released in any case. Enrollment will be closed by the end of September. Even after all this, if some seats remain vacant, then they will be filled under casual vacancies. At the same time, the nomination of other quota seats will be completed by trial of quota nomination. All that also has to be completed within 15 days from the end of enrollment.
