Alberto Arzola, 19, died from gunshot wounds inflicted by Anaheim police on December 6; his family demands justice and is suing the city of Anaheim
Relatives of a 19-year-old Hispanic man who was shot and killed earlier this month by officers of the Anaheim Police Department (APD) announced Tuesday that they will file a lawsuit against the city.
The incident occurred on December 6, when two officers were patrolling the 800 block of South Philadelphia Street as part of an anti-gang operation.
The officers encountered several people in front of a house, and at one point, the interaction between the officers and the individuals escalated into a confrontation, according to the APD.
