A Hispanic child was killed in a hit-and-run on his way to school Tuesday morning in Dana Point, Orange County.
The minor, identified as Luis Adrian Morales Pacheco, 13, from San Juan Capistrano, lost his life while walking to school as a student at Niguel Hills Middle School. The driver, identified as Bradley Gene Funk, 59, also of San Juan Capistrano, was arrested for driving under the influence, hit-and-run, and vehicular homicide, the Orange County Sheriff's Department said in a statement.
