The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department (SBSD) has identified the kidnapping victim who was shot to death on July 29 while in the trunk of a vehicle in Chino Hills after a police chase.
Local businessman Shukur Aikebaer, 60, was identified by authorities as the man who died from gunshot wounds from his alleged kidnapper.
According to the SBSD, the incident occurred on the night of July 29, when two suspects deliberately cut off the power to the businessman's residence, located in the 2100 block of Monteverde Drive.
